RTAM-24/16 is the Real Time Acquisition Module that SEAGNAL has developped to be integrated into very compact embeded electronics systems (underwater acoustic arrays for example).
This module was designed on a FPGA platform (Field Programmable Gate Array) and can digitize 32 signals into 16 bits (present version) or 24 bits (version available in 2024) samples. It may easily be serialized in order to digitize sensor signals from large arrays, and lines of modules may be parallelized to cope with even greater numbers of sensors (see schematic diagram below).
Ultra compact (116 x 34 mm) RTAM module can be fitted into an acoustic array or be installed in a frame on board.
RTAM is proposed with its firmware (M-ACQ) and a dedicated Evaluation Card can be supplied for potentially testing its features and characteristics within the customer design process.
SEAGNAL may assist its customers with design services for the specific electronics modules necessary to the RTAM module (power supply, inter-connection, ...). SEAGNAL has already developped such boards as copper Ethernet I/F, Sensors I/F and power supply in certain configurations (see linear 32 sensors configuration below).
